The Gladius gives you maximum flexibility from very low levels of light (fully adjustable), to it's unique high-output Strobe function. The particular application of strobe light is a first in a small handheld/weapons mountable tactical flashlight. The Gladius Strobe channel is specifically designed to give you the reactionary gap you need to prevail against a wide variety of threats. The Strobe is extremely disorienting to those on the receiving end, yet allows the operator to maintain excellent situational awareness.

The more familiar momentary and Constant ON switching are quickly and easily accessed all with one-finger operation. The Gladius flashlight features a unique lock-out system that is useful for tactical operations. The Light can seamlessly and securely Locked-out to avoid needless battery and potentially compromising light discharges. Contact-Free Switching
The rotating switch uses a revolutionary, totally enclosed, contact-less design which eliminates electrical connections between the tail cap and the power management system circuitry. Contacts ultimately wear and corrode, causing intermittent or loss of function. This equates to having a much more dependable and durable switch in all types of environments.

Digital Communication
The Gladius features a proprietary system that allows the tail cap switch to communicate with the intelligent power management system located in the front area of the flashlight. This is a first in this category of lighting tools.

Low Battery Power Indication
The Gladius uses two 3-volt Lithium CR123A batteries
Run-time of the battery can vary greatly depending on the type of usage and dependent on ambient temperature conditions. When the battery life reaches a predetermined point it will begin a process of two noticeable, consecutive, rapid pulses every 15 seconds until the batteries are replaced. This low battery indication is active for the momentary and constant on modes ONLY.
