CoolFlashLights.com is a privately owned family business with our offices located in Crofton, Maryland and our warehouse is located in Bowie, MD. We are just about 20 miles east of Washington D.C. in the Maryland suburbs. We began doing business in May of 2002 after a few years of planning and consideration.

I started this business for many reasons. The first being I do a lot of camping and have always thought a good flashlight is very cool and useful tool. I also work as a Certified Flight Instructor at Freeway Airport in Bowie, MD and a reliable flashlight when flying at night is a necessity. I have always had an interest in gadgets and flashlights certainly fell in to this category. So years ago [probably in 1999 or 2000] I went on line to find a cool flashlight to take camping with me to impress my camping buddies. Someone always brings something new to show off!

   Well, to my surprise the choices for flashlights was really disappointing! So I decided to go into business for my self and sell flashlights with 100s' of choices and that's how it all started. I am having a blast discovering new products, using and selling them.  [LEDs' are a great new item!] I want to thank everyone who has visited this site and I hope to bring you more cool flashlights for years to come!
